I hold a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour, awarded with a Top Student Award, demonstrating a deep understanding of animal psychology and learning principles. I also hold a Level 2 Award in Animal Care and a Certificate of Canine First Aid, ensuring your dog's safety and well-being are always prioritised. I am fully insured for your peace of mind. I'm currently working towards an Ofqual Level 5 Diploma Canine Behaviour Practitioner, continually expanding my knowledge and skills to provide the best possible service. In addition to my qualifications, I hold 9 years of volunteer experience, working with shelter dogs and then with the dogs of vulnerable people in my community, as well as visiting elderly and disabled people with my own dog, Tess, as an AAA visiting dog.

Science-backed training for lasting results

What sets Beyond Barking apart is my unwavering commitment to science-based methods. My BSc (hons) in Animal Behaviour has equipped me with the critical analytical skills to interpret and apply the latest research in canine training and behaviour. This allows me to develop and implement effective, kind, and evidence-based strategies tailored to your dog's unique needs. I am dedicated to continuous professional development, with plans to pursue an MSc (Hons) in Clinical Animal Behaviour in September 2027. This ongoing learning, combined with independent research, ensures that my methods remain at the forefront of the industry, offering you and your dog the most progressive and compassionate care.
